Escorts launched new range of construction equipment at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018 (bC India). Apart from the new additions, the company strives to expand its reach by attaining 800 touch points with authorised service centres across the country by the end of this fiscal, says Ajay Mandahr, CEO, Escorts Construction Equipment.

“We have launched three new products at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018 – New Compactor EC 5511 in 11-tonne class, New Mini Compactor EC 3664 in 3-tonne class with water cooled Escorts engine and next generation Hydra Pick-n-Carry Crane (PNC) Crane Hydra NXT 13,” according to Mandahr.

The latest addition to Escorts’ Compactors, EC 5511 is a new generation compactor which is designed to give optimum compaction performance with excellent operational efficiency. Also, on display is the 3-tonne Mini Compactor EC3664 powered with Escorts water cooled engine, which is the latest offering in the small compaction machine space.

The company also displayed future of Hydra i.e. Hydra NXT, which combines the convenience of a Hydra, safety aspect of TRX range and at attractive price point. This product will address the customer demand, both corporate and retail, which have been looking for a solution that offers higher stability, manoeuvrability and improved load handling capabilities. Unlike Hydra, Hydra NXT is equipped with steering wheel and the boom is specially designed to accommodate multiple attachments viz., man basket, crane jib, forks, construction bucket, etc.

Augmenting customer’s accessibility to services and genuine spare parts is of utmost importance to Escorts.

ECE showcased the upgraded version of its existing products, new innovative equipment alongside the products from its global partners Tadano, Doosan and Comansa.
