SCHWING Stetter innovations ready to deliver on time!
V G Sakthikumar, Managing Director, Schwing Stetter Sales and Services Pvt Ltd, says, “The current trend as well as the road upgradation projects that are being awarded by the Government of India is time bound projects for completion wherein Schwing Stetter India’s higher capacity batching plant, concrete truck mixers, concrete pumps, boom pumps, concrete recycling plants and self – loading mixers are being used to deliver the projects on time.”

Investing in new technology – An essential step
Siddharth Shah, Managing Director, Cosmos Construction Machineries And Equipment Pvt Ltd, says, “Adding sensors to plant equipment and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to ready-mix trucks gives producers much more accurate and timely information about their assets. Strength gauges are beginning to change how we understand curing and the concrete life cycle. But even the most cutting-edge new gadgets are not meaningful unless we translate the data into actionable information.”

New technology is a necessary investment, but by itself, insufficient. Producers must be willing to do the hard work of harnessing the potential by redefining core practices. Otherwise, the investment is mostly wasted.

New generation high performance machine: BSF 36.04
Putzmeister has earned international acclamation for its work in high rise pumping and long distance pumping. Staying committed to bring high value products and excellent services to its customers, Putzmeister has introduced the new generation boom pump BSF 36.04 NG. Theissen informs, “The machine has been built using aluminium and high-grade light weight steel to reduce the weight by more than two tonnes. This boom pump comes with ‘big mouth’ delivery cylinders of 230 mm diameter, which are 32 per cent more efficient in filling the pipeline than its smaller counterparts. The “Big Mouth” solution reduces running costs, diesel consumption, maintenance cost on wear and tear parts etc., for every cubic meter pumped.”

Having major focus on green concreting, the hydraulic tank capacity has been reduced to 275 litres, which is 30 per cent lesser as compared to other machines in the market. This makes the machine much more economical and eco-friendly to run.

With its Z-fold boom, the BSF 36.04 NG combines an optimum reach on a 3-axle chassis with added features and versatility- all at a gross weight of under 25 tonnes. The great flexibility of the Z-fold system and the narrow cross-section of the arm assembly significantly improve the machine’s manoeuvrability which enables jobs to be completed as fast and as simply as possible. Overcoming obstacles on construction sites is no big deal, as the BSF 36.04 NG is even able to reach places, which would usually require larger machines or boom extensions.

BSF 42-5: Optimum flexibility
Putzmeister machines are engineered for success. Executing highest performance, quality and reliability, BSF 42-5 achieves success through its optimum flexibility, i.e. large reach on a 4-axle truck and minimum footprint.

The 5-arm boom in the RZ-fold system has an impressive action radius i.e. 41.6 m vertical reach for all requirements in building construction and 30.7 m reach depth, which is considerably more than with comparable 4-arm version. This mobile 5-arm boom provides the machine operator with more manoeuvrability under difficult conditions such as low buildings, tight inner city areas or in the event of obstacles between the truck and the site of concrete placement.

Focussing on the safety, the truck is protected from damage by transmission of forces to the support legs. The truck chassis is not used for force transmission and is therefore not loaded with torsion ensuring not only quieter pumping operation but also a long service life of the whole truck.

Putzmeister is a leading solution provider for pumping, mixing and placing concrete in the industry. No matter what unpleasant or difficult work the Putzmeister elephant is called upon to perform, it still remains comfortable to operate and to service.

Schwing truck mounted boom pumps can be used for all the applications and also have a reputation of providing faster completion.
