Grundfos India is ready to showcase Grundfos ‘iSOLUTIONS’ at ACREX 2019 this time. iSOLUTIONS offers intelligent pumps, cloud connectivity and digital services all working seamlessly together to reach a new level of performance, says Additionally, Magna3 is the new addition to the family of high-quality circulator pumps, according to Gaurav Mathur, Head of Business Development (Building Services), Grundfos India.

Brief us about your offerings at ACREX.
At ACREX 2019, we are proud to present Grundfos iSOLUTIONS. As a step further towards integration, iSOLUTIONS offers intelligent pumps, cloud connectivity and digital services all working seamlessly together to reach a new level of performance. Enhanced performance with the use of iSOLUTIONS will provide high energy efficiency, reduced complexity, and low life-cycle costs. The solutions on display include; Magna3 – a range of high quality circulator pumps for understandingconsumer’s needs, and ensuring the right balance between self-contained systems and pressure zones.

What are the latest trends and innovations in HVAC equipment?
We have moved beyond the functional benefits of a pump through our latest integrated technologies in air-conditioning market. Magna3 is the newest addition to our family of high-quality circulator pumps. It includes a broad range of small, medium, and large circulator pumps fitted with communication equipment and motors with electronic speed control based on permanent magnet (PM) and compact stator motor technology.

These pumps are flexible and reliable, have low noise levels, long life and no maintenance requirements. They are designed for circulating liquids in heating systems, air-conditioning and cooling systems and domestic hot water systems. This product has been improvised over its earlier versions to suit a range of applications, which includes CHW application, boosting, radiant cooling, hot water recirculation to list a few. The pumps have raised the bar for intelligent pumping with its intelligent control modes, optimised building management communication and a built-in energy meter.

Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) is a measure of seasonal efficiency with measurements taken at 25, 50, 75 and 100 per cent of flow for defined periods of time. The lower the EEI, the smaller the amount of energy used by the pump in a year. The EEI applies to circulating pumps, and the only way to achieve a low EEI is with a variable-speed drive. Magna3 can achieve energy savings of up to 75 per cent in comparison to traditional circulators.

How are your products different from the ones available in the market?
We strongly believe in ‘Value Driven Approach’ and this differentiates us from the rest. We go beyond manufacturing the world-class and energy efficient pumps by ensuring that we deliver on the cooling
and heating demands as needed in the most environment friendly and sustainable way. We are also empowered with digital benefits through advanced monitoring and greater control.
